I don't think anyone here has ever doubted that predation can lead to
extinction under certain circumstances. But if you want to blame a _global_
mass extinction on an _introduced_ predator, where do you get the predator
from?

And if you want to blame extinctions _in air, land and sea_ on an introduced
predator, you'll have trouble turning that into a scientific hypothesis.
