Re: "Dinosaurs Died Within Hours After Asteroid Hit Earth..."

Just a nitpick ...

Mickey used "hesperornithines" to group *Hesperornis* and allies, based
on the name Hesperornithes, coined by Fürbringer (1888). Eleven years
later, Sharpe (1899) coined Hesperornithiformes. Though the ICZN does not
regard these names, and the Phylocode has yet to be instituted, Clarke in
her thesis, which Mickey is following, forwarded that Hesperornithes
should be used for eleven years "priority" and chose not to define
Hesperornithiformes, thus ignoring over 100 years of historic usage of the
Sharpe name without any mention of the Fürbringer name.

Fortunately, this is only in a thesis and hasn't been formally suggested
in the literature.

  Cheers,

in the face of adversity, that a simple skip is so hard to do. We should all
learn to walk soft, walk small, see the world around us rather than zoom by it.
