Feathers for T-rex?
Goodmorning,
Last week there was a posting on a dutch paleo-site from somebody whose best
friend had just come back from Paul Sereno in Chicago, reporting that a
newly found specimen of Trex had some kind of feathers on the fore arm. It
was also said that a publication would appear in National Geographic next
year. This is all I know sofar, and there is no further information
(evidence) given on the site.
Does anybody around here know more about this (potentially very interesting)
story? And if so, why is it only posted on a dutch paleo site instead of
some high-impact journal/site? Any information is welcome. Maybe it is all
some kind of joke, but I thought I'd check in with the DML first ;)
Have a nice day,
Hanneke
