  As in the discussion with Mickey Mortimer, this comment misses the point
of the replied message. Dora was expressing how the ornithology list is
NOT run as the Dinosaur list. On this list, far more than any other I
noticed, scientists literally discuss issues with students and lay people,
whereas Dora expressed not so much rigorous discussion but "chat" on the
ornithology list, which is remarkable. We hear more about bird biology and
evolution on THIS list than on THAT, which was her point.
