Might the "Jixiang" in _Jixiangornis_ refer to geologist Yin Jixiang? 

You're probably right - I can't think of a better derivation.

Very interesting birdie, is _Jixiangornis_. I'd like to see a second opinion on how the skull was reconstructed.
