One can save MacClade files (or PAUP* files) as NEXUS files, which are
really just text (.txt) files, which both programs can run.

For example, I have some incredibly archaic data matricies on my personal
website, which have a ".mc" extension, but are really just text files.  One
can open and save these in a text format, and PAUP* and MacClade should
still be able to read them.
