Even in newborns?
Has anyone actually studied the vertebral articular surfaces on the
specimen in question? I don't mean just descriptively; I mean bio
mechanically.

It would also help if someone attempted a reconstruction of the eggshell
pieces (either from casts or from virtual pieces by computer) to make
sure the egg's dimensions are what everyone thinks they are.

As Montgomery Burns once said, "There's too much dancin'. Not enough
prancin.' "
