RE: Tanystropheus egg question



Maybe tanystopheids eggs where somewhat more specialized in shape, or
softer? Maybe a 'screw' shape or something similar?
Just throwing something out. =)

The same thing applies to dromaeosaur tails. I suspect stiffening of
necks/tails may have occured after hatching - which would suggest
parental care was required early on (rather than the "lay 'em and leave
'em" approach).
