Whoops. That's not correct. Pearson et al. mapped the highest-occuring
fossils in relation to the *palynological K-T boundary*, not to the
iridium layer.
A study that maps the highest-occuring fossils in relation to the the
Hell Creek iridium layer has yet to be done.
