FW: Tyrannosaurus "Scavenger vs. Predator" debate - Some question s for Dr. Jack Horner:

To Horner's credit, I don't think he takes the "exclusive scavenger" idea
seriously himself. When he gave a talk in Pittsburgh to support his "T. rex
on Trial" exhibit, he said that he only stated it that way so that it could
be disproven. It seems to have been so with the healed bitemarks, whether
he will admit it or not. (If he admits it, he is out of the limelight.)
Face it, the guy is purposely making headlines in order to have money for
his hadrosaur research. He doesn't even like T. rex. He said they would
interest him if he found one he could fit in a paper bag.

He's not stupid. He's funding savvy.
