If you want to get super-technical about it, a (freshwater) horseshoe
crab is known from the same deposits as feathers in the Koonwarra fish
beds here in Victoria, Australia. I'm not sure how close they were to
each other, though. 

Nit picking, to be sure (which is almost ironic, since fleas are also
known from the same deposits).
