Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I was browsing the SVP 
website today, and Xing Xu has submitted the title of his presentation for 
this year's meeting: "Functional Hind-Wings Conform to the Hip-Structure in 
Dromaeosaurids"!  I wonder if he plans to defend the sprawling image...
