Re: Triceratops maximus and stuff



       I'm pretty sure the skull Andy describes is the one pictured in the 
field in two photo's in Bruce Erickson's book. According to Bruce the Science 
Museum crew helped Jensen collect it for BYU in 1963 while they were collecting 
their own specimens. It remained in storage for many years until the mid 
1990's when it was transfered to DINOLAB in salt Lake City for prep. Bruce 
supplied 
them with resin casts to restore the brow horns. The skull is as Andy 
described it. The skull was upright and a sagebrush was growing between where 
the 
brow horns had weathered. It's a big, beautiful skull. DV
