RE: Stupid "Theories"

There is the theory that the enormous theropod _Deinocheirus_ spent all of 
its time in trees, hanging upside down like a sloth.  I want to credit 
Rozhdestvensky with this one (circa 1970?) but I don't have the original 
reference.

When I first heard of this theory (maybe 5 years ago) I thought it was 
uproariously funny.  Now, I don't think it's THAT bad.  Sure, it's certainly 
wrong.  But knowing what we know now about theropod ecomorphology, picturing 
some theropods hanging upside-down from branches isn't too far off the 
beaten track.
