Dr. Matt Lamanna

Greetings,

Last Friday, Matthew Lamanna (Univ. Pennsylvannia) successfully defended his
dissertation "Late Cretaceous Dinosaurs and Crocodyliforms from Egypt and
Argentina."  I was an outsider reader on the committee, but unfortunately
due to scheduling conflicts wasn't physically present for the defense.
However, I've received word that he passed, so he's Doc Lamanna now.  (Okay,
technically he hasn't gone through commencement yet, but he's done the
important thing).

So, hurray for Matt!!
