Weird, huh? _Deltadromeus_ is a noasaurid according to one source. In
fact, I recently learned that this family is in the process of undergoing a
major revision, and may include quite a number of genera.
- _Alvarezsauria_ should be placed as _Maniraptoriformes_ incertae sedis,
per
Sereno's placement of them with _Ornithomimosauria_, and Holtz finding them
as
basally rooted _Maniraptora_.
Most recent phylogenies have recovered alvarezsaurids as bona fide members
of the Maniraptora, in between _Ornitholestes_ and the
Eumaniraptora+(Oviraptorosauria+Therizinosauroidea) clade (="Aviremigia",
although I dislike anatomy-based definitions)
