So, mebbe I shoulda phrased it thus: "is it LIKELY they had a cheek-structure similar to that of snapping turtles?" The reason I ask is that ankylosaurs have more in common with snapping turtles (for example) than they do with goats or sheep. Or so I would have thought.


I probably should be asking Witmer...
