The fact that it was renamed *Chaoyangsaurus youngi,* actually.
Really? That's not what I read:

According to the above web page, P. "chaoyoungi" "may prove to be
Chaoyangosaurus (D.A. Russel pers. comm.)". By that quote, I get the
impression that the types for both Chaoyangosaurus and P. "chaoyoungi" are
two different things.
The dates surrounding discussions of the two species do seem to suggest that
they might be based on one and the same specimen, however.
