gibbidens <- Lat. gibb- 'hunch, hump' + de^ns 'tooth'

I'd say "GIB-ih-denz", with a hard *g*, but I'm sure there are others who
use "JIB-".
The original Latin pronunciation is really hard to try to approximate with
English spelling conventions, but would be something like "GIB-bih-deynss".
