SVP Info: Weather forcasts for St. Paul, MN; Kid's book announcement

Greetings,

The following message is for fellow dino-listers going to SVP next week. In
case you are wondering what to pack, here are weather.com's current forcasts
for St. Paul over SVP (temperatures in °F; % are percent chance of
precpitation):
Tue Oct 14 Cloudy 55°/39° 20 %
Wed Oct 15 Partly Cloudy 54°/38° 20 %
Thu Oct 16 Few Showers 43°/33° 30 %
Fri Oct 17 Partly Cloudy 43°/38° 20 %
Sat Oct 18 Showers 56°/39° 30 %
Sun Oct 19 Scattered Showers 55°/36° 30 %

Obviously forcasts this far in advance can be horribly incorrect.

-------------
Also, I've received my copy of the forthcoming "T. rex: Hunter or
Scavenger?": a Random House Step-Into-Reading book by me, art by Mike
Skrepnick. Not really a citable work for research purposes, but we did
manage to sneak in a few things (such as Stage II plumage on
ornithomimosaurs and juvenile T. rex). From the back cover:
"Was Tyrannosaurus rex a speedy and savage hunter that killed its own food?
Or was it a slow-moving scavenger that stuffed itself with other dinosaurs'
leftovers? One of the world's top tyrannosaur experts [ ;-)] looks at the
evidence - T. rex's "small" eyes, great sense of smell, tiny arms,
bone-crushing teeth, and "short" legs - and takes a big bite out of the
"scavenger-only" argument."

Take care, and see some of you at SVP.
