Utah Dinosaur Travel Plans
Responding to Richard Butler's question about dinosaur attractions in Utah:
The North American Museum of Ancient Life looks like fun! I plan to go there
myself this summer. It's at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah, not far from
Provo. See <www.thanksgivingpoint.com/museum>.
Stephen and Sylvia Czerkas' Dinosaur Museum in Blanding, Utah is much smaller,
but is sure to have some of the best dinosaur sculptures around. See
<www.dinosaur-museum.org>.
There is also the Cleveland Lloyd Quarry in Moab. See
<www.utah.com/playgrounds/cleveland_lloyd.htm>.
Near Vernal there is Dinosaur National Monument. Numerous attractions can be
found along the path known as the "Dinosaur Diamond," which traces a diamond
shaped path through northeastern Utah and western Colorado. See
<www.dinosaurdiamond.org> for starters.
I haven't been to these places yet, but I will definitely hit some of them this
summer!
Bone voyage,
