  Coeluria is an OLD name developed to include the small gracile
*Coelurus* versus the larger theropods of the Morrison. It has no real
phylogenetic value except as an undefined clade that effectively includes
*Coelurus* to the exclusion of any other taxon and may, under ICZN, be
treated as a junior synonym of Coeluridae, which is similarly restrictable
to a monotypic taxon, synonymous with *Coelurus*. Coeluria has never been
used to include anything other than *Coelurus*. The von Huene name
Coelurosauria, has gained wider usage and is more inclusive in most
phylogenetic schemes, if not all of them, but even though it was
originally designed to include the small theropods, including
ornithomimosaurs, that were not ceratosaurs, it holds nothing in common
with Coeluria's lack of usage that may suggest one has priority in usage.
Ask George for his reasons, but I think they have been covered onlist
somewhere.
