Velvet Claw

Animal Planet is doing a rerun of Velvet Claw in South-East Asia. I know the 
series is extremely ancient (I was 10 when I first watched it. I'm 21 now. 
You do the math.), and that plenty of stuff is now obsolete or outdated, but 
still I find it great to watch.

Does anybody have anything to point out as concerns the 1st episode The 
Carnassial Connection (aside from the pretty atrocious dinosaur animation), 
like for example new discoveries, new theories etc. And can someone please 
point out to me the flaws in the animation or in the theories etc?
