"PaleoWildfires & Dinosaurs" Lecture June 10th
All,
If you are near the Buffalo Bill Historic Center and Draper Museum of
Natural History, (http://www.bbhc/org) in Cody, Wyoming this summer then I
would personally like to extend to you an invitation to attend the Draper
Museum lunchtime lecture series on June 10th, 2003. The title of the talk is:
"Paleowildfires, Meteor Impacts, and Upper Cretaceous Dinosaurs of Wyoming"
The paleowildfire part will focus on my ongoing "barbecued dinosaurs"
research of which the initial forensic- paleontology paper is now nearly
finished - I am holding out hopefully for additional data on animal
behavior and wildfires that might get to me this summer!!
Some of the outstanding "gobsmacking" artwork in the June 10th presentation
was made possible for me by the extremely talented Bob Walters and Tess
Kissinger - whose work can be seen at http://www.dinoart.com
The Draper has informed me that given the time of the year, and the topic
of the presentation, that they expect the lecture hall to be packed out, so
if you are in the region, get there in time to not have to stand.
Cheers,
Marilyn W.
