... there is a big article about the Yixian and Jiufotang Fms. With many
pics,
including a low-resolution photo of the tail of the undescribed specimen
IVPP V
13275, which is referred to *Sapeornis chaoyangensis*, plenty of name
misspellings,
and a very good profile that shows which absolute ages were taken from where
in which
formations and what fossils have been found there. Interesting that they
give two
occurrences of *Sinovenator*. Also interesting that they take it for granted
that
every single pygostylian has a beak. *Archaefructus* may be an interesting
basal
angiosperm or maybe not an angiosperm at all, and in any case it isn't the
oldest
angiosperm.
