pterosaur mandible question
In Fraas 1878, Diopecephalus (= Pterodactylus) longicollum is shown with
a long, straight featureless bone midway between the mandibles starting
at the symphysis. Perhaps the start of a similar bone at the same
location may be present in Tendaguripterus. Has that ossification been
identified? It appears to be too broad to be a palate bone of any sort.
