Hall Train's Tyrannosaurus

I REALLY like sculptor/fx artist, Hall Train's work. Ever since the "Ultimate
T. rex" documentary I've been sold on his work. He's also created numerous
exhibits for various museums. I was delighted to see that he has recently come
out with a new book with "Dino" Don Lessem, _Tyrannosaurus rex_, Pub.
Candlewick Press, ISBN 0-7636-1458-8. Just arrived in today's mail. The book is
for
very little children, so it's perfect for me and most of you. The 8
illustrations
that feature Hall's work are photos of his models digitized into photographs
of appropriate environment. As far as I'm concerned they are the gold standard
for Tyrannosaurus and the ones to beat. They are stunning! The book is
available at Amazon for under $10. It also features a molded rubber and highly
detailed head as a cover, as can seen by visiting the website of the publisher
below. The pages are the thick cardboard variety that can easy be cleaned with
a
wash cloth, if needed. DV
