<Does anyone out there have a etymology for _Erliansaurus bellamanus_
(translation, pronunciation, inspiriations)? If you could sned it to me,
I'd be most greatful.>
*Erliansaurus* derives from Erlian, a township in the southern Gobi
Desert, in the Ordos Basin of Nei Monggol Zizhiqu, China, near to where
the type was found (along with *Bactrosaurus*, *Archaeornithomimus*,
*Neimongosaurus*, *Alectrosaurus*, and a third unnamed therizinosauroid).
*E. bellamanus* derives from _bella_, Latin for beautiful, and _manus_,
for hand, in reference to the complete and articulated manus found as part
of the type specimen of *Erliansaurus*.
Hope this helps,
Cheers,

in the face of adversity, that a simple skip is so hard to do. We should all
learn to walk soft, walk small, see the world around us rather than zoom by it.
