Don't forget (and I'm sure you haven't) that a lot of the smaller theropods described from the Lameta Beds might also have abelisaur affinities: _Laevisuchus_, _Compsosuchus_, _Jubbulpuria_, _Coeluroides_ etc. Huene went crazy naming theropods from India, and most of them are based on very fragmentary material. Thus, many (most?) are probably _nomina dubia_. As Jaime alluded to, paleontologists are going to have a fun, fun time sorting out which Lameta taxa are valid, and which are crap.


BTW, isn't the type material of _Lametasaurus indicus_ a composite of different taxa?
