New Publications
The new EAVP (European Association of Vertebrate Palaentologists) site at:
http://eavp.alettra.de/ has posted the abstract books for the seventh and
eighth European Workshops of Vertebrate Palaeontology (2002 and 2003), the
latter renamed as the first meeting of the EAVP.
They contain quite a few items of interest, in addition to several notes on
European dinosaurs also some new data on "the monster of Aramberri", which
was apparently "only" 18 meters long, as well as a note on *Leedsichthys*
which at 27 meters(!) must hold the size record for fishes (perhaps it ate
Pliosaurs?).
The abstracts of most of the earlier EWP's are also available as well as a
guidebook to a number of Swiss vertebrate localities.
