Pterorhynchus
Dave Peters asked me to post this
Has anyone else noticed that Pterorhynchus pops up as the closest sister
taxon to the Pterodactyloidea? This despite the long tail.
Morphologically, it appears to be extremely close to Angustinaripterus, but
with smaller teeth. I understand that Czerkas only placed it generally
within the "Rhamphorhynchoidea."
