Only in the Tyrannosaurus environments. It is noteworthy that Lockley et al report no evidence of diversity decline in the late Maastrichtian of South America.

Didn't _Triceratops_ alone
make up 70% of some entire fauna in those times?

It does appear dominant in the near coastal environments, based on skeletal remains.
