Being able to paint near-photographic images and real talent are two different things. I't not saying that the Raul Martin was not talented, just that painting ability and inspiration are two very different things. That's why Doug Henderson and Greg Paul are the best; because of their original take on dinosaurs, not because they paint near-photographic images (because they don't).


Most professional artists should be able to paint photo-real images, if they want to.
