Halimornis Sexual Identity Crisis?

Appologies for cross-posting:

  I have just read the paper describing *Halimornis thompsoni*, and found
an interesting _flexure_ in the etymology:

  *H. thompsoni* is named for _MRS._ W. Thompson, and as such, the ICZN
permits (though no longer requires) the name to be changed to reflect the
gender of the honoree. Thus, *H. thompsonAE.*
