Columbus' ships

Folks,
You might wish to contact Jim, and Maureen Parent of the Institute of Nautical Archaeology in Texas. I did a sub-bottom echo sounding search in St. Anne's Bay, Jamaica, at least 10 years ago and we found two hard contacts at just the right place for the two last ships of his final voyage. They were excavating them under horrendous conditions (inky black silt and organics as soon ass the bottom was touched). It would be most interesting to know if they were the ballast piles of two caravels, beached alongside each other and abandoned there. The Parents called their operation "Columbus Caravel Archaeological Project".
    Good luck
