Re: who made the Art?
Even during my eight years' residence in Iran under the regime of the late
Shah and up to (and in the midst of) the revolution, copyrights were
cheerfully ignored and pirated copies of Western books were readily
available in the bazaars. Be consoled that Iranian artistic sensibilities
since the time of Cyrus the Great always have identified, "borrowed," and
adapted only the *best* of Western and Eastern works.
Incidentally, I forgot to add that the Iranian Islamic Solar date "Winter
1380" corresponds to 21 December 2001 C.E. to 21 March 2002 C.E.
