Re: NEW BROCHU, CARROLL, CIFELLI PAPERS

The following new refs will be of interest to some...

Brochu, C. A. 2002. Progress and future directions in archosaur
phylogenetics. _Journal of Paleontology_ 75, 1185-1201.

Carroll, R. L. 2002. The origins and early radiation of terrestrial
vertebrates. _Journal of Paleontology_ 75, 1202-1213.

Cifelli, R. L. 2002. Early mammalian radiations. _Journal of
Paleontology_ 75, 1214-1226.

The recent responses to the quote in my sig line seemed to ignore the
fact that the quote was about Lomborg's book (see also the current
issue of _Scientific American_) and was not concerned with the work
of Paul Ehrlich.

Not at all. I wrote: "Paul Ehrlich has been so spectacularly wrong so many
times about so many things that it makes one's head spin. I consider the above
quote a ringing endorsement for the rigorous academic standards set by CUP."

That seems pretty clear to me.
