If you had to dismiss dinosaurs from the ancestry
of birds, what taxon would you choose instead and why? There are plenty of
choices- Marasuchus, Lagerpeton, Scleromochlus, Cosesaurus, Longisquama,
megalancosaurids, Sharovipteryx, pterosaurs, sphenosuchians, etc.
