I don't believe most birds qualify as "terrible lizards" either.  But hey,
that's where evolution put 'em.

As for "Segnosaurs ejected from AVES"... I have a vision of a
_Beipiaosaurus_ banging on that says AVES - NO UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY, screaming
"Let me in!  Let me in!  I promise this is a 'real' semilunate carpal!  Just
give me a chance!"
