haven't seen the paper, but here goes:

  *Protoceratops hellenikorhinus* :: see Protoceratops...
    *hellenikorhinus* > Hellenikos (Grk.) masc., a Greek citizen, a Greek
man + -*rhinus* (Lat.) > *rhynos* (Grk.) nose, snout, muzzle, as in a dog.

  Greek nosed *Protoceratops*. I imagine it's not an impressive schnoz...
