Dinosaur Film Newsletter
This looks very interesting! Pete Von Sholly just passed this on to me. It will be produced by Doug Turner, Son of George, late co-author of _The Making of King Kong_. Doug will be drawing from his father's extensive research materials. DV :
Announcing the Premier Issue of
George Turnerâs "Treasures of Skull Island"
A brand new bi-monthly newsletter that brings outs the treasures of a lifetimeâs passion and research.
 Why âTreasures of Skull Island?â
âTreasuresâ refers not some much to the monetary value of a particular object, but to the value of knowledge and the joy of discovery. âSkull Islandâ is used figuratively for the entire realm of fantasy adventure embodied in films like The Lost World, Creation, King Kong, She, and War Eagles, as well as the people and techniques that make them. It is a forum, not for the big picture, but for the minutia. The bits and pieces of research in their raw state, that add flavor and dimension to our understanding of films and the people behind them, will be the focus. This exploration will include, interviews, documents, drawings, articles, timelines, analysis, and opinions. Premier Issue â January 2002
