So you know...
When researching this model, the actual fossil provided me with no clues as
to the body covering - feathers or no. For that I used a bit of artistic
license, there are however many new discoveries, thankfully, that have
helped my case. The latest, and best being the new little guy from the AMNH:

The wing information was taken directly from my cast of the Berlin specimen
of _archaeopteryx_ and the tail from _caudipteryx_ everything else was
based on the fossil. I hope you all have as much fun debating it as I had
making the model. I should have a painted, finished version online by next
month.
