Not necessarily. The claws point medially (towards each other and 90° away
from the feathers), and the fingers are flexible in that direction. With
feathers _that_ long, I suppose it might have blown its prey away before it
could reach it... it might actually have been able to fly with such big
wings. What do you people think?

When they aren't preserved... by guessing! :-) Artistic license!
