Hi dear dino-list members,

For _Postosuchus_, what's the most likely currently? A quadrupedal posture like in WWD or a semi-bipedal posture like in Doug Henderson's

http://gallery.in-tch.com/~earthhistory/posto-desmato-triassic2.jpg ?

Thanks in advance, friendly - Luc J. "Aspidel" BAILLY.

The WWD Postosuchus was based on more recent research by Murray & Long, which suggests a more typical quadrupedal habit for this critter.  Their contention was that Chatterjee's bipedal Postosuchus was a chimera of different taxa.

I was talking to Chatterjee a few years ago and he told me he has a student working on Postosuchus. New material as well as old and we’ll I wouldn’t be so keen on how Postosuchus walked until then. (I don’t want to give away anything because the research is being done as we ponder Postosuchus).
