Inflatable throat pouch in Tyrannosaurids?
Not to sound too stupid here, but about a year ago, I was up in
Maryland, visiting relatives, and was at the library. I started flipping
through some books, and I saw something on an asian species of Tyrannosaurid
having an inflatable throat pouch, like that of a Magnificent frigatebird.
Does anyone know if there's any basis for this, or if it was made up for the
book? I seem to recall that there was some sort of evidence, although I could
be wrong. I know the name of the book would help, but alas, I don't know the
name. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.
