their back. And even more, supported by bone. It is a shame there is no
mummified Spinosaur, it could help anwser a lot of questions. Like, for
instance, had it a pouch? I think it did actually, which it could have used
for display maybe, by blowing it up, or with fishing.

That's the point I was trying to make a little earlier, that perhaps
Spinosaurus was cold-blooded. It fits with the sail (making it possible to
be activated earlier than most dinosaurs), the notion that there was
probably not enough fish (when your coldblooded you lose you hunger...) and
following from this both: it had less to eat in a year, making it possible
that the fish-population had sometime to grow, before the evil-angler began
his wicked work again.
Good point about the thread, these are my fave dino's and they are so
terribly obscure...
