Re: Dromaeosaurid tails/tales - help

Tim Williams asked, "Can anyone point me in the direction of an article
or illustration that restores _Deinonychus_ leaping upon larger prey (such
as _Tenontosaurus_)? In other words, _Deinonychus_ is jumping into the air,
and perhaps using its tail for stability."

On page 310 of Robert Bakker's 1986 book, THE DINOSAUR HERESIES, there
is a drawing of such, and, prescientiently, the Deinonychus (as well as the
other dinosaur) has feathers. :-o (But, that's no longer a heresy.)

Can anyone point me in the direction of an article or illustration that
restores _Deinonychus_ leaping upon larger prey (such as _Tenontosaurus_)?
In other words, _Deinonychus_ is jumping into the air, and perhaps using its
tail for stability.

Thanks in advance
