PREPARATOR JOB POSITION
The GEAL- Museu da Lourinhã (PORTUGAL) has opening a job position for a vertebrate fossil preparator. It will be requested a wide sort of different tasks: fossil preparation by physical and chemical methods, microscopic preparation, teaching preparation to students, field prospecting, field excavations, etc. The preparator will be the person co-responsible for the lab. We can offer: (1) a temporary job position, or (2) a non-temporary job position. An experience period will always precede the second situation (non-temporary position). A non-temporary preparator should be open to learn Portuguese in short time. The fossils are mainly of Late Jurassic dinosaurs. The preparator is responsible for his own lodging.
