Not that I were a paleobotanist (actually,
I rather hate botany), but AFAIK it has recently gone totally out of fashion to
refer any K angiosperms to extant families like the 3 you mention. Such
referrals have often been made on the basis of overall resemblances in leaf
shape and suchlike. Maybe there is no accepted family-"level" classification of
K angiosperms at the moment.
