I thought the current ICZN rules didn't mandate changing misgendered names
(wince-some as they may be).

Oh, I completely agree; I'm just following my (possibly wrong) memory of
Sereno's definition.

I could see adding _Vultur_, _Oviraptor_, _Ornithomimus_ and maybe
_Alvarezsaurus_ as exclusive anchors, too.

Yeah; I should have said that no known deinonychosaurs are widely agreed to be
outside Clade(_Troodon formosus_ [not _mongoliensis_] + _Dromaeosaurus
albertensis_).
